I’d give negative stars if I could. Stopped in traveling, couldn’t get a waitress to wait on us so the hostess took our drink and food order. Ordered the bourbon street fries, a burger, boudin balls, and club sandwich. It took an hour plus to get food, the boudin balls weren’t hot the cheese inside wasn’t melted. The bourbon fries were awful there is a “jalapeño ranch” on them that was absolutely foul. The burger never came out, and then when it finally did we had to get it to go and they didn’t give the side with it. The burger was also cold, and had an odd fishy taste. The club sandwich was very minimal flavor. Absolutely abysmal experience. Please avoid. I’m not one of those people to try...
I always enjoy the shrimp gumbo with added crab and oysters. Kevin enjoyed chicken fried steak with sweet potato fries. He asked for brown gravy they served him a pint of it. His side salad was fresh with tiny grape tomatoes which he gave to me. Parking: The parking lot is shared with the gas station/gift shop. Kid-friendliness: There are several foods to choose from on the kids section of the menu. High chairs are available. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking, Chairs can be removed to accommodate a wheelchair
Great food, great service, convenient location. Parking: Parking is free. This business is at a truck stop. Plenty of parking but if you want a close parking spot, that can be tricky. They are always busy because it’s a great place to have a nice Cajun meal. Kid-friendliness: The wait staff always makes the kids feel welcome and make sure they have everything they need. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for wheelchairs.
We stopped by this restaurant while using the restroom at the gas station next door and decided to grab a bite to eat. The girl who took our order was incredibly kind to both me and my wife. We decided to split a shrimp po boy, and she kindly gave us a sprite to share. Overall, we were impressed with the excellent service and delicious food.

The food was really good but it wasn't worth $21.34. I got the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. While I was eating on a bench outside, some dopey security guard approached me and asked me if I was waiting on something. I do not appreciate being bothered when I'm eating. 3 stars. Maybe I'll eat here again, but probably not.
The entire menu consisted of prepackaged and frozen items, with no homemade options. Prepackaged salads were served, along with instant potatoes and packaged gravy. The food lacked flavor and was bland overall. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant at all costs.
Now I see why this place has amazing reviews. I got a half shrimp po boy. It was a lot of food. All fresh and super yummy. Highly recommend this place if you are passing through or live in the area.
Service was friendly, but the food wasn't very good. It took 30 minutes to get two eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns. Mcdonalds has much better biscuits.

Had the Shrimp Po Boy should have had the Small (1/2 size)!!! Tons of Shrimp! Service was great!
Beignets were about the size of a quarter. Insert eye roll here. Very disappointed.
