Have been noticing over the last few years that the service during the day is getting poorer. This week dreadful. Saturday 2pm. Waited ages for waiter woman who was chatting with her colleagues rather than serving anyone. Then waited ages for drinks to arrive and the coffee was medium hot and chocolate had lots of lumps in it. Awful experience and recommending that none of my friends go there.
The selection of merchandise and its quality is fully in order. The coffee indeed is questionable but also service is within typical French limits. Be friendly and you will be treated friendly. To expect a clean floor like in other countries is quite farfetched in typical local France. I thought toilets were acceptable. Never tried the icecream.
Poor service to the point we got up and left after 20 mins. There seemed to be a fair few people sat outside so we thought we'd stop for drinks and a cake, after 15 mins sat outside we asked to be served in French, we were ignored for a further 5 or so mins so got up and left.
Located directly in the harbour with stunning view from the terrace over the bassin. Bread and cakes are baked at place and are of excellent quality. Staff is friendly and the place is clean. Cannot follow other reviews that are complanining about something.
