If I want a fun afternoon tea with a difference then I enjoy coming to Bourgee. Food is good but service is a bit slow. Once waited more than half hour before our order was taken. The donuts are brilliant.

What a disaster!!! The restaurant was closed!!! They didn't even bother to give us a call beforehand!!! Absolutely horrible! This place has no business being on this page!
I came into Edinburgh during the 6 Nations Rugby tournament so everything was completely packedI was tired and just wanted to eat and maybe take a nap.

One the evening of our first day in Edinburgh we decided to have supper before going back to our hotel and saw a sign for this restaurant.
To still be able to book a table when restaurant was closed, was disappointing and frankly ruined a day for me and my daughters!!!!
It’s closed ! Booking wasn’t even cancelled , thankfully word of mouth got around otherwise we would have been stuck
