Let me share my favorite spot in Leeds: Bowery! It offers a warm and calming atmosphere—perfect for hanging out with friends or having a chat. The coffee is absolutely delicious, and I really appreciate that they don't charge extra for milk. The owners and staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the place is kept clean, reflecting the love and care that goes into running it. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
I visited the café highlighted in the coffee guide and was impressed by the extensive selection of hot and cold beverages. The food was fantastic as well. We enjoyed a sandwich with brie and chutney alongside a pork cake salad plate. There was also a wonderful variety of items on display, including plants, books, art, and gifts that really captured my attention.
a great and unique place to hang up, with good nosh, decent coffee and friendly service. many rooms inside and outside, with overflowing up in the art gallery! They serve AllPress coffee, which is always a sign of potential size, so it was easy to pick up bowery from the huge selection of options. simply the best coffee, ciabatta and crumb I had in leeds.
This is a fantastic art center and café! I had the pleasure of exhibiting "A Splash of Colour" by Helen Field and Viv Owen, and I also enjoyed working with the creative writing and art groups. Great coffee, fantastic cakes, nice atmosphere. Update... Just been on one of their amazing craft courses making lampshades. Brilliant course, well run, informative, relaxing and we have two great new bedside lampshades that we made ourselves!!! Previously been on their pajama making course and aromatherapy candle making, all great courses.
Excellent coffee. Stopped here while walking to another coffee shop nearby which I had read about. But there was a queue out of this so decided to stay. Was a great decision. Great flat white and even better almond croissant.
My favourite cafe in Headingley. Going to the Bowery is a highlight every weekend as the staff are super friendly, the atmosphere is great and the coffee is outstanding (best latte I've ever had). Definitely worth a visit.
