Final Update to respond to manager Thank you for the update but with all due respect this has nothing to do with you paying fair wages. I am completely on board with that and understand. The issue I have is with gouging your customers. Unless your employee didn't have the info correct if I would have gotten my usual bowl I would have spent $11-12 for a happy hour sumo bowl. Yesterday's bowl probably had 4-cucumber slices on it. All I'm saying is be fair. Smaller toppings plus now having to pay for toppings depending on the size of the bowl you get seems a bit off. VEGETARIANS DIES is the SUSHI slot for you! My sister in the law and I went here because our favorite Italian place was closed. We love both sushi, but it's really hard to find good vegetarian sushi outside the typical veggie rolls. We were so happy when we stopped there. They had at least 6 7 special roles that were all creative vegetarian roles. We got 5 of the reels and were so happy! Each of the rollers was well made and cost so well. I found this place through yelp because I was looking for some Poke while I was in the area. Came here for a late lunch. The place is clean and there was a lot of parking during this time. They have happy hour prices at the time I came, which was nice. However, I felt the servings were on the small side. But the food tasted great and I was happy. I usually get salad, instead of rice, so I thought the salad serving was small. Maybe if you get rice, they are more generous. I got the Samurai which is 2 protein and 5 different toppings, in a small bowl. Overall, everything tasted great.
We ordered 4 rolls (educated) together with several sushi, 1 sashimi and 1 hand roll (not shown). We had an order to go and I loved that they used the plastic container to mark the sushi so we knew what was. They also marked every single sauce cup, so we knew what sauce was going with what sushi. Extreme attention to detail I appreciate. The sushi was fresh and melted in my mouth. Same for Sashimi. There were only 1 role I did not like; I loved the other roles. My husband liked everything. We had no complaints and will definitely come back for more.
I love sushi too! starving and annoying because our plan was to eat dimme cums in the area, but there was no way we were waiting until today. Yike dim sum so busy on Mother's Day! Drove nearby and ok we try this new sushi place. Oh, a blessing! I sat right away. Food was good, soup was perfect. Sexy girls roll a mixture of sweet and sharp because of Jalapeno and Mango.love it! The lobster roll is not so good, somehow simple taste, so mix it with the sexy girl roll and we have a sexy lobster girl roll! I'm back.
Friendly service and good food at good price. Would recommend. Solid local poké spot. Updating a few years later. I won't be going to this restaurant any longer. They used to be good. Now they limit toppings out of nowhere? $13 for a poke bowl but I can't get pineapples because I exceeded three (3) topping limit? This is ridiculous, there are literally dozens of other poke spots within a mile radius. Goodbye to years of faithfulness to this place.
I started ordering food from the food. I really like it and yes a lot of protein and toppings. very good. the only thing is that the sauces or packages of soy sauce are small portions. not much. I'm stuck on the tuna/Picky thun. yummy. my daughter likes the salmon. no complaining here. sat to dinate in recently and cozy place yummy eating decent ambiente. even though we left when it wasn't busy, I liked it.
Changed. Higher prices, less food, limited toppings, and flavor also changed (my food was bland today). Ordered the lunch and roll (small): 1 protein, 3 toppings. $13 and change. I used to come here often, but was disappointed today. Will be trying other options.
Tried the chashu Don because I was craving a miso soup like I had in Japan. This was fabulous even had the brown egg. Price was very reasonable and the serving was perfect. Topped it off with green tea ice cream. Great meal.
