Final Update to respond to manager Thank you for the update but with all due respect this has nothing to do with you paying fair wages. I am completely on board with that and understand. The issue I have is with gouging your customers. Unless your employee didn't have the info correct if I would have gotten my usual bowl I would have spent $11-12 for a happy hour sumo bowl. Yesterday's bowl probably had 4-cucumber slices on it. All I'm saying is be fair. Smaller toppings plus now having to pay for toppings depending on the size of the bowl you get seems a bit off. I had never been to this place before because I'm not a fan of poke, but after seeing that they also serve ramen, my curiosity was piqued. The restaurant looked clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We ordered two bowls of tonkotsu ramen, which arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, we found the broth to be too salty for our liking, although the noodles were cooked well. The spiced egg was delicious and the chashu was tender. The staff kindly offered to adjust the flavor if we had mentioned it earlier, but by then we were almost finished with our meal. I found this place through yelp because I was looking for some Poke while I was in the area. Came here for a late lunch. The place is clean and there was a lot of parking during this time. They have happy hour prices at the time I came, which was nice. However, I felt the servings were on the small side. But the food tasted great and I was happy. I usually get salad, instead of rice, so I thought the salad serving was small. Maybe if you get rice, they are more generous. I got the Samurai which is 2 protein and 5 different toppings, in a small bowl. Overall, everything tasted great.
Friendly service and good food at good price. Would recommend. Solid local poké spot. Updating a few years later. I won't be going to this restaurant any longer. They used to be good. Now they limit toppings out of nowhere? $13 for a poke bowl but I can't get pineapples because I exceeded three (3) topping limit? I started ordering food from the food. I really like it and yes a lot of protein and toppings. very good. the only thing is that the sauces or packages of soy sauce are small portions. not much. I'm stuck on the tuna/Picky thun. yummy. my daughter likes the salmon. no complaining here. sat to dinate in recently and cozy place yummy eating decent ambiente. even though we left when it wasn't busy, I liked it.
Unfortunately, this restaurant is permanently closed. I arrived one day to find it shuttered. It would have been nice to have visited. They allowed customers to use their rewards points before shutting down. I'm just rambling now because Yelp is asking me to write more.
Changed. Higher prices, less food, limited toppings, and flavor also changed (my food was bland today). Ordered the lunch and roll (small): 1 protein, 3 toppings. $13 and change. I used to come here often, but was disappointed today. Will be trying other options.
Tried the chashu Don because I was craving a miso soup like I had in Japan. This was fabulous even had the brown egg. Price was very reasonable and the serving was perfect. Topped it off with green tea ice cream. Great meal. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The poke at this restaurant is always fresh and creative! The staff provides the toppings I request and they appear to have a thorough understanding of the menu.
