Alex was our server, she is over the top good. She knows the menu backwards and forwards and knows the wines and can pair with ease. The food was delicious. The ambience is romantic, the decor is comfortable and the dining music was very appropriate. I have everything good to say about The Boxcar Bistro.
We loved this restaurant when it first opened but hadn't been back in a while. Life. We were delighted with our recent visit. The staff was superb as we remembered and the Chilean sea bass was phenomenal. We will be back and it won't be so long this time.
The majority of the dishes were delicious, but the only downside was the halibut, which was a bit dry and lacked flavor. The sauce was good, but it could have used more of it.
