I like to drop in for a take away dinner. The food is authentic Romanian, with a good range of dishes, and good prices at about £6 for a main. I have tasted their fasole batuta (beans mash dip), salata de vinete (aubergine dip like baba ganoush) starters, ardei umpluti (stuffed peppers), iahnie de fasole (bean stew), mici (kofta) mains, and always my favourites, papanasi (fried dumplings with cream and jam, massive portion with two big pieces) desert. I have to say each dish tastes like the home made versions, and for a take away dinner for two is about £20. Not bad, and makes a nice change from other London food. Very impressed and would recommend it to my friends. Wondering how to order it...
I am a huge fan of Romania and Romanian food but I haven't been for many years so I was thrilled to visit this restaurant. Our very friendly server chatted with me about Romania, recommended things on the menu and found lovely vegetable dishes for my wife. I was particularly pleased that they had cascaval pane and tochitura! The other diners seemed to be Romanian, which is an excellent recommendation in my book. We ate so much for lunch at the restaurant that we didn't need anything for dinner that evening! Prices were very reasonable considering the quality and how much we ate. Really worth checking out.
Thought the only excellent Romanian eatery was near Tottenham Hale...until a friend told me about this place,so went to try. They have a much more limited range,but what they do is very good.We had a very tasty Bean Soup with Smoked Pork, a Tochitura which is stew Moldavian style...and obviously the national dish...Mamaliga,which is their version of Polenta and comes with sour cream. Portions were more than adequate,prices very acceptable,staff helpful. They also do a range of pizzas,cold and hot snacks and some Pasta dishes.
We visited Brasseria Timisoreana with a Romanian friend, hoping for authentic cuisine. Seeing mostly Romanian guests was a promising sign. It was my first time trying Romanian food, and I was truly impressed. We savored dishes like aubergine salad, bean soup with smoked pork, stuffed peppers, pork schnitzel, Romanian sausages, and papanasi. Every dish was delicious, and we left completely satisfied. The service was excellent, and they even treated us to a complimentary papanasi.

I was not yet, but it looks really good for me outside I have excellent reviews about this place excellent eating good service good price-quality ratio convenient seating place safe environment good for families and children good a visit worth a visit I highly recommend it will be back to get more pictures. delicious Romanian specialties and delicious.
I’ve been many any times to this restaurant. And not because food is cost effective, not because of the waitresses, but because i felt good to eat fresh food in a welcoming place. Although the serving area is relatively small, i did realised that “good people fit anywhere”. This is one of the places that I’m pleased to visit regularly.
The service at Brasseria Timisoreana was terrible. After placing our order, we waited an hour for our food. Frustrated, we chose to leave, only to be met with rudeness from a staff member when we canceled. We do not recommend this restaurant.
Great value with straightforward, authentic Romanian cuisine. They offer all the traditional dishes, and the sound system occasionally plays house and techno music. Highly recommended.
