Found this place via TripAdvisor. The reviews were good so we decided to try it too. We were not disappointed. Great choice of beers. The hubby did la palette de bieres which is the equivalent of a beer flight. We had fun trying all 8 beers. I had the vegies panini and my hubby had the ribsteak sauce forestiere. Both meals were very good. This place is a bar that serves food so expect loud music and happy hour crowd. However, the food is a notch above bar food. There is parking, which is nice. Overall, our evening was a success and if we go back to Trois-Rivieres, we will stop by again.
About 12 of their own craft beer to choose from. We tasted four in our tasting palette accompanied by an excellent poutine served with a beer gravy and very good cheese curds. Good service. Music not too loud and place not too crowded mid-afternoon on a rainy Friday. Nice relaxed atmosphere but likely gets more lively in the evening as it is very close to the University.
Gambrinus would be my favorite restaurant in Trois Rivieres if they did not force families to sit outside. With that fact, it loses all pretense of European atmosphere. However, the poutine is great. The non-burger options are excellent -- both the salmon and the flank steak ("Bavette à l’échalote") are very good. Finally, all the beers are fresh and tasty.
Cool local bar atmosphere with good house made beers. My husband had the cream ale and loved it. Food was very good and gave large servings. Seemed more like a local joint, great place to stop between Montreal and Quebec City for lunch if you are a craft beer lover.

Good beer, good service, pretty quickly served. The French fries were excellent. The burger was zzz OK, wish I had ordered something else, as long as it came with fries. Wide selection of beers on tap.
