Having been to a number of toursty places, this was a breath of fresh air. A bit of a walk away from the coast, but close to the station, Au Cafe was full of french people, with the menu in French and staff who did not immediately switch to English on seeing / hearing us. We got a table outside, the service was swift without being rushed, the food was delicious and the bill very reasonable. Everyone was very happy.
We discovered this brasserie in June. On our return in November we introduced our family. Plat du jour tasty, French cooking, variety, comfortable surroundings, attentive service ad more. Great value.Milanese yummy with noodles. Grilled salmon done just right. Desserts? In my, tarte au pomme, tarte au fraise and creme brulet!!!!! So tasty. Toilets are the cleanest in Antibes.
I have been coming to Antibes for about 14 years , about 6 times a year and come to this cafe every time. Food is to perfection . All you need do is look at the owners and see how clean an efficient they are. Toilets spotless also which is always a good sign. Omelet and caffe €9:70 :)
I had a delicious lamb stew and a carafe of red here at lunchtime today, and enjoyed the food, the wine and the excellent, friendly service. The bill was a pleasant surprise. Great cuisine and lovely people. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The location of restaurant Au Cafe is in busy street, but it isn't too noisy. The restaurant was full in lunchtime, but we found table outside. Lunch was tastefull and the service excellent. Recommended.
I walked by dozens of times. I didn't like the outside appearance. Then went there with some friends and have been back for inexpensive good food.
Homemade dishes and pastries at really good prices. Very nice bosses as well as the staff....Thank you.I really recommend
