If I could give less than a star I would. I walked in and NOT to my surprise, there was almost no food left. They precook their food which is fine, BUT NOT PLANTAINS! That’s crazy to me. They proudly served gratin mixed in with the rice and the lady serving the food was beautifully singing over the food in this Time of COVID . I’m from out of town and this was soooo disappointing to see. ALSO, it just makes sense that when a customer walks in to your restaurant to spend their money AT LEAST SAY HELLO or some type of acknowledgment . Maybe I’m asking for to much tho. THIS REVIEW IS TO HELP YOU DO BETTER!
After having a great experience here during my first visit, I begged my family to come here again. That was a big mistake. The service was terrible and slow, the food cold, and instead of getting food from the kitchen, the server went next door and got our food from take out. Needless to say, I won't be coming here again. This place is hit or miss and today was definitely a miss. The band that was playing was great though.
Worst experience in my life!! New management (cook) is awful. The food was awful and I use to love going to this restaurant. They really need to change the cook because this restaurant was #1 place to eat a few years ago. The food has no taste, it's not prepared well, and it's far from the Haitian standard of cooking. The owner seems very nice but he needs to change the cook!!!
Been here as a staple of the community......the owner is basically Fam.....food is on point compared to the majority of the spots in Queens.....as for the ppl that work there ....you take care of them.....they take care of you....nuff said.....eat order from this spot

One of the worst place to go. A friend of mine told me that Vayb is performing there and I went for their performance for the first time. The bar, you couldn’t get a drink, no wine opener
Some things will never change, evolve or improve. To wait 50 minutes for already prepared meals is totally unacceptable. Especially if you’re the only occupied table in the restaurant.
My guests were very disappointed with their service. A restaurant is a serious business it can't operate on a hit or miss basis. Your quality depends on your reliability.
Food is good. Price is reasonable. Would love to see staff understand, though, that the clients are not obligated to tip them, when they are getting Take out food.

Used to be a really great dining experience. Some dish are better than others. I would recommend it if you're hungry and you're in the neighborhood.
Execellent Haitian dishes. A must try if in the mood to taste Haitian dishes. Drinks also available.
