Travelling back from Le Puy du Fou we needed to eat and were quite a large group, we picked the town of La Roche-sur-Yon and followed our nose after parking in the square. We wandered through the central square of Napoleon perusing some weird mechanical art which was fun and then stumbled into this little Brasserie. All the seating was upstairs so we were directed into the park over the road which was odd but quite fun. Typical French Brasserie with a huge menu but lots of things crossed out. The waitress was lovely and tripped over herself to help us, spoke great English and obviously wanted to practice so my Franglais was redundant! There are not a great many places open Sunday In La Roche sur Yon and this is a very comfortable, central brasserie with cocktails, set menus of which the menu gourmande at 28 euros represents good value. Portions are generous and I has a very well cooked piece of pollock in a cream sauce, a good creme brulee and my other half had equally good coquilles St Jaques and a home made apple tart. Service was friendly and efficient and there is a lovely stained glass skylight in the middle. Would definitely go again
Second lunch at Clem for us. The first time on the terrace, this hot lunch, in the room Very well eaten, staff at the top, especially the nice person who took the order and realized the cashing. A very friendly and very smiling person who visibly is made for this trade Special mention for milk rice
Very good restaurant I really recommend, we took the special Choucroute that we are good eaters and frankly we could more! Big pots! Nice desserts and pancakes really perfect ratio quality price very good

The dishes were well prepared and overall good but the portions are small compared to the rates. The staff is friendly and smiling what is not the case everywhere so congratulations on this side!
