We dropped in for Lunch without a reservation, the Manager asked us to wait a couple of minutes as a table was about to become available. We were quickly seated and made most welcome. Drinks were promptly delivered and the Manager Franck explained the daily...menu which is constantly changing as the restaurant serves fresh seasonal produce. My Wife and I both opted for Perch served with rice accompanied by a delicious herb butter, Mother went for Mushroom Ravioli which was also declared a hit! For Dessert Mother opted for Creme Brûlée, my wife had a Strawberry dish and I had the homemade Tart which was very good. This is my second review. Still think this place hits the spot. Good homemade food, good service and good value. Even had parsnips today, not a common vegetable in France. Not here that often but immediatley shown to the table we like for out black...lab where he has a bit of space, such a nice welcome. What more can I say I wish there were more places like this like there used to be. This is going to get stars based on what it is. It it not a Michelin starred restaurant and not fine dining but does a great job in its range.
After a while the wall mounted TVs and busy main road get on your nerves. A supermarket style wall of wines on offer don't do much to help the ambiance. The food was fussy and did not look clean and wholesome ... For example, my...strange tuna salad was totally covered in a greasy dressing of olive oil and an over tasty balsamic vinigar. The tuna was a soggy mass!! Not for me....
Alluring combination of expertly homemade Mediterranean dishes with a small but daily changing menu. On top of that Frank and his team warmly welcome us every time so we look forward to treating ourselves to lunch there as often as we can. Do not judge...this restaurant by the photos on Trip Advisor as it has been significantly updated since then.

We've had a drink or two here more than once but really enjoyed the plats du jour gnocchi with bacon and foie gras. Desserts were freshly made too, good local beers and wine and a fantastic outside terrace. All served with a smile by...the patron.
Cracking bustling place in the centre of Peymenaide. We stopped here for a family lunch group of ten. Good, honest, simple, fresh food. Salmon was terrific. And very affordable at courses for Tasty local beer friendly service.
I've known that place for over years, and I still like to go sit in the terrace and enjoy a drink every now and again. The place has changed owner, but has definitely not lost its friendly soul !
Fresh, imaginative food and what we'd been hoping to find in Provence on our holiday, but hadn't so far. Best tarte tatin ever.

Crowded terrace and a place were the locals have their morning croissant and coffee. Simple and OK. We had breakfast here.
Good brewery, we eat very well. very reasonable price. friendly staff. I recommend.
