This is a lakeside restaurant just a few miles from Bazas with plenty of parking that my wife and I and our family visited one Saturday evening in August. The situation is perfect with beautiful views across the lake and the forested area in the distance. Watch out for opening hours because they only open in the evening on Saturday, otherwise it is lunchtime throughout the week. The restaurant is a large modern building with terrace which is a must in the summer months. Notably the menu states that produce is fresh and dishes are made on the premises. our first time there and was told by friends how good it was. we met for lunch,about 1230 and it was fairly full. we were shown a table overlooking the lake. the menu was on a blackboard,which was small and hard to see. it had about six main courses and deserts. we all chose but was told that they had run out of two of the items,a bit early we thought as though there were quite a few people eating,it was not packed to capacity . what we ended up with was ok,but not really what we wanted.
On a rain-swept day we decided to try this restaurant, just minutes from home but previously a rather shabby place. What a transformation! Beautiful modern building and impeccable décor, with magnificent views over the Lac de la Prade nature reserve. The service was fast and friendly, flexible enough to provide a vegetarian alternative in the reasonably-priced lunchtime menu. The food was nicely presented and very tasty. We'll be back!
Friendly staff, beautiful setting and very good food. Well worth a visit especially if you want to impress your visitors ! I am a vegetarian and to eat in France is sometimes not too easy, they catered for me very well and without the "look" I usually get when I ask for something veggie. I cannot recommend this place enough, maybe good to book though !

Everything about this is place was lovely. Beautifully set by the lakeside with tranquil, exceptional views. Good service and excellent value for money at lunchtime. Food was good and a relaxed atmosphere. I would feel comfortable eating here alone.Plenty parking spaces and delightful walks round the lake.Go soon and enjoy!
A lovely restaurant overlooking a lake, although busy the service was good and the food exceptional for the price. I always go there when I am here in France.
