Brasserie Le Concorde

My husband and I ate twice at Brasserie Le Concorde while in Pont St. Esprit recently, both times for lunch. Since it's a brasserie, the menu is somewhat limited, but the food was good. We had mussels during our visit in March, which were okay but not outstanding. In April, we had salads and a generous cheeseburger plate that had wonderful potatoes au gratin as a substitute for fries. Huge portions. Plus, there was wifi access, which we appreciated after staying at a gite with poor signals. Friendly service too.

A reasonable priced restaurant with quite alot salads on the menu, they come in huge portions, and further on some classics. Thay do not have a card for the wines amd I think thats quiet strange if you have a restaurant in the middle of a huge wine area. The location is in the centre of the town and if you look around you see that the region is struggeling. Thats also my rating overall for this restaurant.

This place has quite average and pricey food. The owner is very stressed and though he spoke to us in English he passed his stress to us and his noisy restraint was disappointing I hope he can make sure to be calmer

The salad was excellent, including the butternut squash. The people were attentive, friendly, warm and helpful. If you ever are in Pont St-Esprit, this is the brasserie to go to.

The hospitality here is excellent. They went out of there way to make us feel welcome. The food was also fantastic. Will definitely visit this place again.
