We stopped in this restaurant to take a glass of wine in the evening and were so impressed by the staff who interrupted their dinner to serve us that we returned later for dinner. We started with a generous and delicious fatty liver scalope. My wife took the salmon and I had the scallops - both were excellent. we asked for a local white wine and loved the recommended chardonnay. We finished with a tiramisu and a chocolate mousse, which were also very good. the service was friendly and efficient. the owner joined us at the end and after talking during c. 10 minutes thanked us for coming. We're coming back with pleasure.
our first night in narbonne and we couldn't have chosen a better place to eat. located next to the canal, the place is a charming place to look at people and see what happens in the south of the france. the staff was good and spoke well English and met our needs. food was excellent and exactly what we needed. I had the bone marrow that was wonderful and the lamb stock for the main dish. The lamb stock was the best I ever had and the sauce that accompanied it was excellent. the woman had the biggest bowl of mussels of all time and she couldn't finish them. wonderful rhythm and delicious food.
this place is fabulous! they can have breakfast, lunch and dinner here we have enjoyed all three here often and everything is always fantastic. the set menu is great and there is always something interesting to try as well as classic French favorites., everything perfectly cooked. large for families, the child menu is good, although our children often choose the adult menu. the personal is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed, it begins to feel like an extension of our own house!
we visited narbonne today, so we stopped at the brasserie at the river bank in the capital for lunch as we did before. the menu has a large selection of classic French dishes at a reasonable price. my only light criticism is that the staff, apart from a beautiful young man, were a little surly!

I walked to the front for lunch. As soon as the server realized that we were strangers, he literally blocked the door and said "no spaces". Don't bother. I went through stress in a great place called the little pastis. Go with your family.
After waiting 10 to 15 minutes for the servers to recognize us or bring menus, we simply abandoned and left. the restaurant was not broken down, but the staff was only interested in the customers they seemed to know
we went there 3 times recently and each time, the menu at 16,90 € was tasty and a very good value for money. the servers are competent, the atmosphere is good, and the hot plates are served on heated dishes.
we had a wonderful meal, a complete menu, the atmosphere was great and we finished the meal with the most wonderful desserts?????

Great location, good service and excellent food. Visited twice in two days. well worth a visit. Plenty of vegetables too.
