after visiting harder kulm we went back to our hotel. the recipe suggested, dinner at the restaurant brauistübli, a local restaurant only 3 minutes away. the restaurant was really easy, similar to a type of Swiss hut. the decoration was funny, lots of wood everywhere, chexenfigures and some osterhasen on the tables. that was probably, since easter just died. overall it was exactly what we wanted. an authentic and local Swiss restaurant for a delicious cheese fondue outside the tourist crowd. the part was delicious and just right for two people. we have tried a Swiss wine, one of the best European wines, but only for locals. we also tried the local beer, in hindsight, very similar to German b...
Obwohl es nicht an dem Ort ist, wo sich Touristen aufhalten, kann man nur bar bezahlen, EC-Karten werden nicht akzeptiert und Kreditkarten sind auch nicht möglich, was zu einigen Unannehmlichkeiten führt. Außerdem, wenn vier Personen nur drei Gerichte bestellen, aber vier Teller benötigen, um das Essen zu teilen, kostet das extra CHF 5. Das ist für mich unerhört. Although it's not fancy, this little restaurant across from the Rugenbrau Brewery is a great place to meet friends for a meal in a warm and inviting atmosphere. House specials included sausage, rosti, and the very popular leg of pork (their signature dish). Whether you stop in just to try some of the house beer, or stay for a meal, you'll like the relaxed feel of Restaurant Brauistuebli and its friendly staff.
Das Essen war sehr entgiftend. Der Käsekuchen war kalt, schleimig und aus einer Art Fondue-Käsemischung hergestellt? Absolut ekelhaft. Rösti war essbar, aber die Miniportion schmeckte noch besser als eine der Tuten. Garniert mit dem kleinsten Ei im gesamten Berner Oberland. Das einzig gute war das freundliche Personal. very filling portioning and delicious eating! be tired that they only accept cash (we were prepared for this lol). the staff didn't seem the kindest, but maybe was a free day. about everything it was a great experience and would eat there again!
