We always pack a picnic. I recommend bringing a roll of paper towels, as it can get quite messy and their towels are small and not very absorbent. Also, bring paper bowls for melting your own butter—Apple’s butter isn’t great, and you’ll probably wish you had a better option when you order the crabs. If you’re a fan of Cajun seasoning, consider bringing a can of Old Bay with you. Don’t forget crab crackers and hammers since they don’t sell those on site, and a real knife, along with sturdy plastic plates and silverware, is a must. It’s also helpful to bring hand soap, as the outdoor sinks can be convenient but often lack soap. On top of that, we like to pack watermelon, desserts, and drinks...
My wife and I go to Cocoa Beach every year. It's one of the favorite places I have. Last year we found Mrs. Apple's seafood. We bought some jumbos steamcrabs. My wife and I are from Maryland. Hi, grew up on the Chesapeake Bay. The Blue crabs we had Where's some of the best crabs I ever had. Hope to see you again this year will be down in 2 weeks. CLOSED until August 2023! Unfortunately, there was no notice of this on their voicemail, Facebook page, or Yelp account, resulting in very poor customer service. We absolutely LOVE Miss Apples and sincerely hope everything is alright. Please make sure to inform us when you're closed so we don't waste our time driving or flying here during our vacation!
I have been to this place way over 15 years and I have never been disappointed. The food, service and employees are amazing. Always a great place, are you all still closed? The phone line isn’t working yet. Its worth a two hour drive if they’re open always had the best freshest seafood, hope miss apple is doing better!
