Well what can I say other then a absolutely wonderful visit to this pub, Hi my names drew and I recently came to your pub after a stressful week at work, Me and my friend decided to go for some drinks on are day off...and I was not disappointed with how I was treated one bit there are 2 staff member who I don’t know the name of but want to shout them both out for making my experience that little bit better, They both work for airlines as there 2nd job and that’s all I can remember them saying, one was a lovely gentleman who catered are every need while we was outside enjoying the night and he had great level of banter so it was very lovely to see and another was a lady who was I think she sa...
Both myself and my wife, stopped here for a Sunday roast meal today. The service and covid checks were very good, we had a short wait for service after being shown to our table. But we were happy to do this, as it is nice...to see a pub busy and making money, in this current time. When our food arrived, we were very impressed, and it was very tasty. And we both enjoyed the meals immensely. I was also very impressed with the beers that I ordered. Many thanks to all the staff, especially the chef.
5 of us from the work wanted to find somewhere that we could board for a few drinks and share a good amount of food and brewery shades have not disappointed! we ordered almost everything from the starter menu and it. everything came fast, was really delicious, large portion sizes and the service was simply really nice! love that it is an old pub and it felt very cozy. thanks for a great evening. we're coming back!
This historic and characterful pub was the perfect destination after an eight-mile hike in glorious Sussex countryside and Rosie's Pig cider, served in tip-top condition, was the perfect refreshment. Visited here this week whilst working in the area. Great pub with large outdoor seating area in the middle of town. Lovely staff. Had a great chat with the barmaid who happened to be from where I live in Lancashire. Great atmosphere and everyone made...you feel welcome. Top pub.
Just wanted a quick sandwich and was passing,brilliant food,Chicken Club and Ham and Tomato,very filling,well presented too,quite substantial, great little place and staff team,I should visit more often, can recommend
