Briarpatch Restaurant

I always loved briar patch. as it is under new management, some things have changed well and badly. the hoppin john suppe isn't as good as before. the salatable is however very good and fresh. has always been. for the crumbs, it doesn't matter. the drink glasses are now and much better. steaks are amazing! a very good place to eat at! friendly waiters and eat comes very hot and fast!

we thought to be a fast lunch but ended with a short 10 minutes waiting. we had no time to order the menu, so we made the suppe and salatable. the salatbar was excellent with so many choices, but the suppen were just okay. the floating johns suppe was very bland and the sweet soup was good, but under seasoned. overall we have left full and happy!

I really enjoyed this place. I recommend 15-30 before opening, they are busy fast and they will wait one. service was good, eating was delicious. they lose a star because of a laborious smell in the front area and the place is in the necessity of updating, but that will not prevent me from going back soon.

Great salad bar! I have several food allergies that make ordering a salad in a restaurant difficult, so having a salad bar with variety where I can pick my own toppings gives me a chance to enjoy a salad. The Oreo Fluff is a nice dessert option as well.

by far the best steak in owensboro! they have an amazing salatable and they have first class customer service. one of the hidden gems of owensboro!
