My family and I went to Bricco on Valentine's day and had the best experience. We did not make reservations because we are having construction done at our home and we did not know if the workers were going to leave in time for us to go out to dinner. When we arrived at Bricco they were booked with reservations (as expected on Vday), but they were so kind and brought out a beautiful folding table and chairs on the side and made us feel so welcome. The food is OK. I have a family member who loves it, so I keep trying. That said, without exaggeration, I have never had a smooth transaction. After an extra 15 minute wait I've had my to go order given to someone else. Orders are never ready when promised. I've gone to pick up and there's no record of my order.... Why do I keep going back? After today, I won't be. UPDATE Someone replied to my review. What they got wrong... I left my review in the parking lot before I even got my food. Although the food was terrific, we felt too rushed by the waitress constantly pushing us even though there were several tables open/available. She was very nice, but needed to relax/calm down. At one point she asked if she could take my plate away, to which I said with a mouth full of food,….No, I’m still eating! We had reservations for four at 6 pm but arrived early. We were accommodated right away while we waited for our 2 friends, but while waiting (outdoor patio) she kept asking if we wanted to order drinks, appetizers, or ?…to which we kept telling her No, we would like to wait for our friends who arrived on time at 6 pm. We felt pestered the entire evening. Too bad.
Ok. Great reviews so tried takeout. Price is fine for this kind of pizza. We got the “blue collar” Chicago thin style. 8oz meatball too with bread. Pizza was ok but certainly not stunning. Bread tasted “burnt” and the meatball was fine but nothing special. The marinara really did have a “metallic” taste like some or all of it came out of a can. I’m making it sound really bad (which it wasn’t but most certainly I wouldn’t say it was one of the top in south OC (as it is rated . Oh well back to Amecis tried and true. Too bad.

Great food… great service…. LOVED entertainment! Just a bit noisy as a table by us a bit loud but were enjoying the music in a big way.
