I worked here but I'm going to do my best on an unbiased review! In terms of sushi here in Oxford, this is the cheapest good sushi you'll get. I lived through Sushi Nara and I exist during the Sushi King era, and neither of them hold the same quality as Brick House for the price. Brick House quality isn't worse on the half-price days- it honestly has nothing to do with the time shipments come in. Basically, you aren't getting worse quality sushi on Sunday-Monday.This doesn't necessarily have the best vibes to sit and eat, but many people do! I would consider this more of a takeout place, personally. Truly this is a great Oxford business to support and while it isn't necessarily the best sush...
What a hidden gem! As a sushi lover, this place really hits the spot. Located just at the corner of the bustling town, I adore it. The food was fantastic, and the sushi was incredibly fresh. The service was impressively fast as well. On Sundays to Tuesdays, the sushi is very affordable—my meal only cost $10, and I received 8 pieces of sushi along with two large hand rolls. I would definitely recommend it for a quick meal or just to enjoy in general!
One of my favorite places cheap sushi Sunday Tuesday w the half off and is great given the price. Highly recommend the hand roll and the sweet potato tempura. Service is super quick, my orders were always ready on time. You could totally eat there but we usually just picked it up.
I love their sushi and have never gotten sick which is a plus in Ohio. On Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays they have 50% a set of rolls which is such a great deal! Fairly quick service and rolls are made right there. I would recommend taking out and eating outside.

So good. So good. I thought that there wouldn’t be any good sushi places in Oxford but a friend recommended Brick House Cafe to me and I am so glad she did! Some of the best shrimp tempura I’ve ever had!
Absolutely fantastic! The food is incredibly tasty, the portions are generous, and the staff is very friendly. If you're visiting Oxford for a campus tour, this is definitely a must-visit spot.
The sushi is consistently fresh and delicious, and their service is great. When they accidently got our order wrong, they made it right at no extra cost. I love Brick House!
Food and service were ok, atmosphere wasn't good. Generally wouldn't recommend unless you're desperate.
