The last time I tried to have dinner at this restaurant, they informed me that they were fully booked, including the bar, which I found surprising since I've never encountered a reserved bar before. This past weekend, my wife and I drove up from Atlanta for the day with high expectations. It was clear they were very busy and possibly short-staffed. I had a fantastic lunch experience with exceptional service at this restaurant. They were incredibly accommodating in reserving space for 18 people on one of their busiest days of the year. When only 12 of us ended up attending, they worked with us to adjust the seating arrangement smoothly. The staff was very helpful and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. One of my companions, who had a mahi mahi sandwich, remarked, "Who would have thought someone from the coast would need to come inland for great seafood?" Wow. So disappointing. Half the items on their website were not on their menu. We were told by server they were trying to work on updating a 2 yr old menu....excuse me, what??? 9$ for bread...my caesar salad subpar at best. Entrees , since the options were very minimal I chose chicken parmesan..lean cuisine pasta taste better .no flavor whatsoever! My fiance wanted trout ofcourse they were out so he got salmon instead... again below subpar at best the rice and vegetables no flavor seasoning. Very disappointing ..not a happy ending to our bday retreat: never will return here

First, we had a wonderful table overlooking the stream and could not help but notice how impeccably clean the establishment was. Next, the service was phenomenal. All the women working were so sweet and accommodating. Especially with the extra love they showed to our bulldog. Super pet friendly which we always appreciate. The food was very good, fresh and reasonable. Had the pimento burger and fried chicken sandwich. Great COLD beers! Looking forward to the next time we stop in!
Today was our second experience eating here. We had a great first experience. Today was different: short staffed, our order was wrong (and the waitress insisted it wasn’t), and overall such a disappointment after our first trip. Stopped in for lunch on a weekday. The place was pretty empty and we were sat right away. The food was good. I had a honey chicken sandwich that they had on special that was tasty and better than the plain fried chicken sandwich that's on the menu.The server was great! The atmosphere was nice and chill.
Be sure to ask for our server, Charlie. She's fantastic—knowledgeable, cheerful, and very accommodating. Our group of four enjoyed the trout, demonic ribeye, and blackened grouper, all of which were delicious. We dined outside near the road and absolutely loved the experience!
