Me and my social worker stopped here for a coffee one day during one of our meetings. I actually REALLY enjoyed their brand of coffee, I have to say it really was a unique experience in the sense of trying out new things and visiting more small businesses. From what I remember the staff were very friendly and service was quick, I REALLY liked how they had natural sugar cane for sweetener instead of that refined and bleached white sugar. Decided to stop by to do some reading. This place is beautiful with outdoor seating as a bonus. The inside is a cafe as well as a large open bakery so it smells like incredible freshly baked bread and pastries even with my congested nose. The place is spacious with regular seating as well as couches. I opted for a London fog which was very tasty. Definetly a place you can study. Beautiful place with a small café built-in, located on the edges of Chinatown Little Italy. This is also a bakery and is the primary roastery for their coffee beans, so the whole place just smells AMAZING! The free WiFi is very stable but note that it is slow. Nice variety of furnitures: booth tables, high tables, and low coffee tables.... but the quantity of seating is small and the staff seem to struggle keeping the tables clean. There is patio seating as well when the weather is warmer but here again, the quantity of seating is small and patio has no roof so you are sitting out in the sun. Nonetheless, the fresh breads and pastries, the incredible smells.... I would absolutely keep coming...
I have mixed feelings about this restaurant. The space is lovely, but the customer service at this location has never been excellent. Today, it was quiet when I came in. I received decent service at the counter, but when I sat down, it was clear that the tables had not been wiped. There was a spilled substance on the bench seat that had been there for a while. I decided to move to the comfy chairs, but they were not as comfortable as they used to be. The springs and padding in the seat were worn down, causing discomfort. Decent place, wouldn 't call the prime minster and ask him to visit it but hey for the common man go for it. Little bit hipster without being super obnoxious as most hipsters are. Seriously go take your plaid shirt, ironic glasses and wool beanie and be original. The people working were nice enough. The coffee is fine. Basically everything about this place is okay . Wouldn 't go out of my way to go back, but if you are in the area and want coffee or a pastry, then boy do they meet the need.
The interior of the restaurant is definitely well-designed. I decided to try the Mango Tahini Smoothie, which was priced at $5.60. It was pre-made and only filled 3/4 of the cup, which was a bit disappointing. The taste was just okay, nothing special to justify the price. It seems like they have an interesting brunch concept with their in-house bakery.
This coffee shop is unique in its size and beauty. The coffee is good, but I'm not a coffee expert. I enjoyed some almond snowdrop cookies with my drink, which were delicious. The only downside is the noise from the machinery, but it's not constantly running. Overall, a great place to visit.

We ordered double espresso, late, and chocolate croissant. It was amazing.About the atmosphere, I'd rather a warmer vibe. It didn't give me the feeling like a cozy-friendly cafe.Food: 5/5
