Bridgeview Restaurant

We have been coming to the Bridgeview since 1976. It's not fancy, but the food is good and the quality is consistent. The weekend breakfast buffet is a local draw, with all kinds of good things (and some strange ones,too) to try. The diner hasn't changed in forever, so if you're into the classic diner thing, you won't find a better place. The patio is right on the river at the marina with (you guessed it) a view of the Johnstown-Ogdensburg bridge! The patio is a unique structure: part party tent, part RV parts, part board on board fence...charming! Well worth a drive to Johnstown, or a stop before or after crossing the bridge.

If you don't enjoy tender roast beef and flavorful pork with tonnes of fixin's. than you should probably go elsewhere. If you DO ... than pull up a chair to THIS buffet! Excellent selection of sides as well as a full salad bar. I can't even TALK about the dessert selection without salivating! Deliciously home made blueberry pie, coconut cream. black forest cake. Our server was efficient and friendly and had excellent manners, something which is sadly becoming a rarity. All in all a fabulous "home cooked" meal for a fabulously reasonable price.Wish we lived closer!

This restaurant is a great stop for campers and locals alike. We have been there many times over the years, and the staff always remembers us. The food is good home cooked, and on the weekends and holidays, there is a good buffet.

Went for a business lunch. Was pretty quiet inside. Food was decent. The only thing was that it was very cold in the room

Good old fashioned breakfast with real home fries and excellent bacon. Lunch dishes we saw being served also looked good.
