I had a 4 day stay at this Marriott near Newark, NJ and had a really great experience. We had breakfast here most days (although a little pricey) and frequented the bar at night. I worked out at the gym twice and was pleased by the selection of cardio and weights machines, as well as a good selection of free weights and benches. The staff was very pleasant. Jake, on the the front desk attendants, even ran (literally sprinted) to the back of the hotel one day to find my wife a Coke that she had been craving. Another attendant let us borrow an umbrella for our quick day trip to NYC. My complaints were few, but should be mentioned: 1. The towels were very coarse and probably could use updating...

I am an elite member for Marriott I quit traveling and just started again for business. Marriott is now charging a early checkout fee. I had a 2 night stay booked and finished my business In one day and said I needed to check out after one night. They would not check me out and said I would be charged for second night. Mind you I was still before the checkout time frame. It was around 11 am. And the receptionist also said they would re sale room if they got it cleaned. Can’t believe a hotel doesn’t understand schedule changes and accommodate especially for elite members.
I always enjoy my stay at the Bridgewater Marriott. Grace Lizardo director of room operations is always very accommodating. I enjoyed my room selection very clean and updated. The breakfast is delicious with me to order omelettes oatmeal, fruit, and other healthy selections. It’s close to many restaurants and close to New York City and other theater district in New Brunswick., New Jersey. Decent hotel and more modern than others in the area. I find that a lot of the hotels around this area are old and have gone through renovations. This one is one of the better ones. Pros: AC doesn’t make much noise! Which is really good in my book! Gym is of larger than average size and good variety and number of equipment. walkable to the mall and other restaurants. Fairly clean Indoor heated pool is nice but no hot tub Con: rooms could be cleaner I didn’t get any lotions or other toiletries no shuttle
I had a fantastic experience during my recent stay for a local charity golf event. Grace truly went above and beyond when I realized I had forgotten the confirmation paperwork for the silent auction prize I won the night before. She stepped in quickly and graciously resolved the issue. The rooms are stunning, the showers are exceptional, and overall, it’s a wonderful high-end experience!
Stephany delivered outstanding customer service. She was incredibly helpful, and the entire team provided excellent service. Even though the hotel was fully booked, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that the guests were happy.

The gentleman who checked in our large party (15 rooms) was efficient cordial, professional and helpful all at the same time. What inappreciated most of this Marriott was how quiet and peaceful it was. Perfect!
