It's a big bakery, part of a big chain. The products are good, and the café is excellent. The staff is usually very helpful, but the owner/manager is not. I am writing this with deep regret, hoping that things could change so that I can... and my friends can return. This man is awfully rude, common and unnecessary. A few examples. My wife and I had bought two espresso drinks and pastries. Later she asked for a small cup of water to take medication. He refused to do that. She was recently there and was ready to pay when he decided to go to the back room and stack some shelves. She was waiting with her friend and the café was cold, asking her to pay. She should wait. Nice welcoming place to enjoy coffee and croissants or brioches. The have several varieties of French pasties including buttered and non buttered croissants and they are tasty. Having been beer about six times ,I can say that the pasties are good as well as the...coffee. Try the almond or chocalate croissants if you wish to indulge. The people are nice and the place both indoors and out are cosy and relaxing. It is meeting place for regulars. They have some sandwitches for lunch but I have not had lunch here.

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in the city. I don't mind any language barriers when I am served here. Those who have a problem probably have never traveled or have a superiority complex. Let's all be tolerant. Those in a hurry can always go to Walmart for their high-production waffles or rolls, as that seems to be where they usually do business. Long live Frenchglish!! I like coming here for lunch or a snack.The place is well lit ,comfortable and has outdoor street side seating. I love their different paninis or just a bowl of cafe latte and a pastry or danish
This place serves the best coffee in town! The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. I usually like to pair my coffee with a baguette or a healthy bread for a complete meal.
