Probably one of the best lunch spots for a chill vibe and tasty big honking food! Only managed to be in PEI for 4 days and during that time came here twice and honestly should 've gone at least one more time... The fish is done by weight so you will always get the same amount when you go back. I ordered both times the Fish Tacos Platter and it is PHENOMENAL being the best $22 I 've ever spent, being 2 soft-shell tacos with fried haddock, vegies, sour cream and spicy sauce with or without fries. If you are extremely hungry and I mean EXTREMELY HUNGRY then get the fries, otherwise the fish tacos by themselves is plenty. Was greeted as soon as we walked in. They were fast with our drinks and food. Our waiter even offered water as soon as we sat down. The place is clean and the atmosphere is cozy. The food itself was stellar. Had the home made small cut fries with the bacon wrapped scallops... honest opinuonright here... they cooked the bacon and scallops better than any place I have ever had it at. Keep up the great work everyone!
Food was excellent we got haddock and chips my daughter got the 'smaller ' portion (it wasn 't small lol Our waiter was excellent friendly funny checked on us without being annoying (I didn 't get his name but he got a $12 tip : we were there on Saturday Jan 20th while in Charlottetown visiting our daughter for her birthday : will go again for sure out next visit to the island.
My selfie does not have all the happy people that enjoy this restaurant. We were a group of ten that walked in off the street. You handle our group amazingly and didn’t wait long for our food. Service was good and food was good. I find most restaurants can’t handle a large group of people that don’t call ahead and you handle our group with grace. Will be back there again!! Too bad that there are others that have had a bad experience (and don't realize that you are going to get some grease with Fish Chips), but since moving to Charlottetown almost four years ago my husband I have eaten at Brits several times and have not once had a bad meal there. Best Fish Chips in Charlottetown hands down. Ps .. awesome service too!!
Visited today with my wife, both of us had burgers. I had the 'Beefeater '. Have to say it was on of the best burgers I 've ever had. Service was great, order was taken within minutes of seating. Only took maybe ten minutes until the meal was ready. Definitely will be back and recommend to anyone!
