I don't often leave a review, but when the service is outstanding you should take the time. Our waiter Anthony, at Broadneck Grill--Edgewater was efficient, friendly, and had this sixth sense about knowing when to appear... something to appreciate when you need a second of their world class margaritas!! We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! After a day at Mayo Beach, we decided to try this place and we were not disappointed. We started with the chips and salsa, which were delicious. Our entrees, the Texas Chimichanga and the Spinach burrito, were amazing. The Texas chimichanga was filled with chicken, beef, beans, rice, and cheese, all smothered in a delicious cheese sauce. The Spinach burrito was a pleasant surprise with its filling of spinach, artichoke, tomatoes, onions, and cheese. Even though it had no meat, it was still incredibly satisfying. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant if you do not want to support an employer who fires employees when they are sick. Additionally, it is concerning that the dishwasher machine runs cold water, which goes against health codes. As an employee, I experienced food poisoning twice, likely due to these issues. The management is overworked, underpaid, and not appreciated, leading to a high turnover rate. The bar is also not up to code, raising questions about how they pass health inspections. I hope these issues have been addressed and improved since my time working there.
We go at least once a month since we found out they do TACO TUESDAY. I am glad I can eat 6-8 tacos IF I don 't fill up on salsa, queso n chips. This restaurant was disappointing. The Old Fashioned cocktail had too much bitters. The wings were small and overcooked. The Cream of Crab soup was bland. The Crab Cake Sandwich was average.
