We spent two weeks recently at a gite near Aignan and this was our favourite cafe. It is a charming and quirky salon de the / restaurant / antiques shop. The first time we visited we had a coffee and the general atmosphere was so friendly that we decided to go back for lunch and dinner during our stay. The menu is based around local ingredients and has a choice of around 3 starters, 3 mains and 3 deserts. I'm a vegetarian and they very kindly cooked a special meal for me. Lorsque j'ai envie d'une bonne table, c'est à cet endroit que je vais malgré les km à parcourir car je sais qu'ici il y a le goût du partage, tout y est la simplicité de la relation, la chaleur du sourire et le plaisir du palais. Percevoir la qualité de l'huile d'olive en dégustant les aiguillettes de canard ! Quel bonheur ... oui, ici on prend le temps de manger donc de vivre, alors un conseil même si vous avez un petit appétit comme moi, si vos amis prennent une entrée, faites pareil ... merci

J'y suis dans mon univers. Il y a de la brocante, de l'art, des artistes, des repas végan. Une bonne ambiance mais aussi des valeurs que je partage. Produits bio, protection animale, création de liens, partage, vin est local. Animaux acceptés. Terrasse verdoyante. Il y a un peu de magie... Bien en couple en famille entre amis en solo et pourquoi pas en affaire.
Love this place, Nancy and Inge run a tight ship, you might enjoy a coffee in the morning and take in the atmosphere. You could do a little shopping for something special you did not know you wanted/needed and the menus are varied and interesting. Great food twinkly lights, good music and wonderful atmposphere.
De locatie is gewoon een heerlijk plekje, uitzicht op het plein, fijn buiten eten maar vooral genieten van de kookkunsten van Inge, yes chef! Geen bord hetzelfde, kop en schotel uit de oude doos maar wat ze er mee kunnen en serveren, vingerlikkend je bordje leeg. Een Hollands chapeau in Frankrijk! Top.

Une belle découverte dans ce petit village gersois : accueil chaleureux et un cuisto très accommodant concernant régime contraignant. Cadre original et sympathique.
