I tried the Chris M. Bronx Bomb burger, and it was just as I expected—essentially two grilled cheese sandwiches with a hefty patty in the middle. I ordered it medium rare, and it was cooked to perfection. I also ordered some potato wedges, which were fantastic. The regular fries were decent but nothing out of the ordinary; the garlic fries I got were just a pile of garlic on top of unseasoned fries. Aside from that, the restaurant is great, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area looking for a good meal.
Pints & Pavements is always an excellent choice for a post-run meal, thanks to its wide selection of beers and delicious food. The burgers are outstanding, as are the tacos. I devoured my burger so quickly that I didn’t even have time to snap some cute photos! Even though our group was 15 people strong, the service was fantastic, and they kept us well-hydrated with water while we placed our beer orders. I adore this restaurant! It's cozy and has a strong sense of community, and Laura is fantastic! She adds a wonderful touch of personality and warmth that is truly refreshing. We've quickly become regulars and are always treated like family. I usually order the Pony, while my boyfriend goes for the Old English—both are incredible! I'm so happy to see this unique and friendly establishment thriving.
So happen to stumble on to this little gem in the Bronx. Food was great, service was insanely great. An older lady taking care of 5 tables all by herself. Super sweet and professional. The burgers were great the wings were great. I wouldn't order their empanadas the meat was just like meat sauce that belongs in Spaghetti. Not so good. That is my only complaint. The rum punch a must have.
Bronx Burger House is amazing!! Laura is undoubtedly the best! Keeping everyone happy even when there were a bar full of people (very hard to do). I had the Cowboy Burger sans Mushroom (eww). And a pumpkin beer with a cinnamon sugar rim. A Riverdale institution that cannot.
