The stars that I gave are for the decor, the pleasant staff, the delicious french fries. The stars that were not given are for everything else. We ordered the mini burgers and were asked how we wanted the meat cooked. I requested medium rare. The burgers came out well done dry. Maybe that's why our order took an extremely long time to be served. They forgot they were cooking it. I had to get up and go to the counter any this because me waving my hand in the air when I finally saw my friendly waitress wasn't enough to get table service. This diner is the place to go after walking 3.5miles to get here, in the past it was small and tight, after remodeling , they added a couple of seating area. It's a diner so there's nosies , conversations and movements going on, the service is always a fast pace. They get you in and out. The menu has alot to choose from, good portion and tasty great. Their cappuccino is to go for after your meal. After my meal, I walk another 3.5 miles home.
The food was satisfactory, but the main issue was that they added an additional gratuity without informing me. When the waitress brought the bill, I gave her a cash tip and she swiftly tried to collect it before I saw the total. This is not good business practice and has cost them a loyal customer. Adding a tip is fine, but deliberately taking more than twenty percent without my knowledge, on top of an additional 18 percent, is unacceptable.

If you're walking around Bronxville and need a quick bite to eat (or need a meal before a movie) this diner needs to be on your list! The retro interior is super cute. The menu is very extensive, and their daily specials never disappoint. My dad and I came on a Sunday afternoon and were still in the mood for brunch options so we opted for egg dishes. The kale omelet with sweet potato fries on the side was perfect. Will be back!
Back again with my nephew. Still has that 50s look throughout the entire diner. paraphernalia covers all the walls. I started off with Yankee bean soup and a medium rare cheeseburger with raw onion this time. my nephew had an up burger, it's a burger with caramelized, onions, and a sunny side egg up. Bronxville looks like a town out of a movie set. The diner is clean and has a nice aesthetic to it. The servers were very kind and accomodating. The greek yogurt with walnuts and honey was a perfect breakfast. The omelettes all come out hot and fresh. So good. I think you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The service was attentive and stuck with me. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely love this diner and it's retro looking decor. I am a huge fan of older brighter looking diners and this place does the job. Food is good, ambiance is superb and the staff is attentive.
