This place is quaint, clean, and semi-quiet compared to other local bars. They have two outdoor options and an upstairs private room for parties. Theres a projector on the back deck. There’s a handful of locally brewed beer and quite a selection of other Missouri brewed beverages. The food is pretty good, too but I mostly come here for the Black Cherry Shandy or the 573 beer. If you come around often the staff will greet you by name when you walk in the door giving the place a real “cheers” like family atmosphere. It’s a great place to have a beer after work, bring a date, or just get out of the house.
Very nice place. The staff is exceptionally friendly and the upper floor is a smoke-free and relaxed quiet area for socialization. Excellent selection of dishes and brews! In addition, a children's menu that unexpectedly makes it family-friendly. Good, clean fun with a knot for the mature adult who is also a parent:
This is a must every time we visit our children and grandchildren in Poplar Bluff. Everything's so good if you get nothing else, get the fries. When they come to your table, put your head down and ignore your table mats during the meal and make delicious sounds. Unbelievable.
The staff is welcoming and friendly, the medal is the best I had, the food is A, can not recommend this place enough. (Boomer by Leaky Roof is the medal I am, amazing taste!
