I had high hopes for this place based on the reviews, but it didn't live up to the hype. The dough was soggy, the cheese felt low quality, and the toppings were lacking. There were only about 30 pepperoni slices on a large 20-inch pizza, whereas other chains typically double that for a 14-inch size. This is definitely not New York-style pizza. The crust was too thick and wet, there was an overabundance of cheese with not enough sauce (which is not how NY-style pizza should be), and the cheap cheese resulted in zero cheese pull. The pizza needed an additional 2-3 minutes in the oven. I’ve tried pizza across the country and even managed a pizza chain in my early 20s, so I can say with confiden...
On the bright side, the service was excellent, and my order arrived quickly. However, I did notice one of the cooks wiping his sweat with his glove before continuing to prepare food. As my mom would say, that's just an "extra ingredient," so maybe it added a little something to the dish!
Despite that, I really enjoyed the pizza and stromboli and will definitely return, although it seems like most people opt for takeout. Also, just to clarify, I'm not from Goldsboro; I'm from one of the nearby small towns.
As for parking, it's located in a plaza with sufficient space, but it can get quite crowded, so you might have to walk a bit.
Brooklyn Pizza used to be the best.now it's hit and miss. last time my pizza was great.the time before that the crust was to thick.they need to slow down and cut even slices.i love their Italian sub.but mine was bland.not enough mayo,onion or oil and vinegar.one more thing did not appreciate them stacking my 3 slices in one box.will give you another chance next time.?
Been here twice and both times there was like a 1/4 inch of water in the middle of the pizza. Not to mention it was under cooked. I had to take it home and throw it in the oven. After all that, it was bland. The staff was incredibly rude both times. You only get away with that if your food is actually good.

I'm from Philly. The only thing I miss about Philly is the food, but I'll never go back. I been looking for good pizza for over a year. I almost gave up til I found Brooklyn. The pizza is just as good as anything I found in Philly. I'm not looking anymore. This is my go to pizza place for life here
I ordered an Italian sub and was incredibly let down. Coming from New Jersey, I am used to having more than just two types of cold cuts. The ham was low quality boiled ham, and the other type was sliced so thinly that I could nearly see through it. The portion sizes were very minimal.
