Hand down one of the best burger, pizza, and sandwich shops in Northern Michigan. I know you can easily get sick of burgers and pizza up north cause that's the primary staple everywhere with little variety but this is out of this world good. I usually order the mushroom burger with truffle fries. My kids love the deep dish style pizza that they still eat cold the next day. My husband got the Cuban sandwich the last time which he said was amazing too. The owner/manager that works behind the bar is super friendly and gave our family a tour once. He seems to remember us when we come back even though we're not locals. I love this place. It's a gem!
Broomstacks was one of the best lunch spots we have been to in the Leelanau Peninsula. It came highly recommended by a local. They have an expansive menu with tons of food options and beer selections. We enjoyed the crispy Brussels sprouts, homemade guacamole and chips, short rib pizza with caramelized onions, chunks of garlic drizzled with horseradish cream and Cuban sandwich. The staff were super nice and gave us recommendations on what to try on the menu. We will definitely visit Broomstacks next time we are up north to try their peanut butter burger!
This restaurant is fantastic! The atmosphere is fun and laid-back, the food is excellent with a great selection, and they have an impressive beer list. They offer a variety of wines, both local and non-local, but their beer selection is larger. Our group ordered pizza, a Cuban sandwich, a green bean salad, and pig tacos... and everyone loved their meal! The service was top-notch and the owners/managers were active and worked well with the staff. It's a well-run establishment. We will definitely be returning!
Amazing food, service and ambiance! Our server was so knowledgeable about the menu and extremely accommodating to my personal food intolerance. The kitchen as well, was very wonderful in creating an exciting meal for me. I also appreciate the fact that they focus on locally sourced ingredients and alcohol. Our whole experience was amazing, you must check out the curling rink! Wish we lived closer to come back more often.
We came in as a group and were seated right away! Our servers name was Via and she did amazing! She knew what we wanted before we asked, and answered all of our questions about the menu (we have a lot It was a 10/10 experience!
We enjoyed special cocktails, beer, appetizers, and desserts at this restaurant and everything was excellent. The service provided by Jack was also outstanding.
