Like many other posts before mine, I'm just reiterating what has been said before, minimal beer to choose from due to ordering issues (assumingly) and a pricey new bistro menu. My bottled beer was minimally colder than room temperature. Attentive staff trying to do the best they can with what they need to work with. Whilst we wait for our order to arrive, we notice most of the restaurant is aswell waiting.. A fully housed restaurant with only tables eating???? Eventually our lunch meals arrive, my mega German hot dog was average whilst my partners schnitzel was enjoyed.. We came in for dinner at on a Sunday night. Most of the dishes my partner wanted had run out, so he settles for the German Pickled Braised Beef with Potato Dumplings. I had the Spätzle with cheese and pork belly. They had also run out of a lot of beers. They forgot to bring our drinks over for about mins (literally three other people in the place). We came here for lunch as we thought it would be a novel idea to try some real german food.I purchased the Platter which stated on the menu that it comes with pork knuckle, pork ribs, some sausages and any two sides of your choice. Firstly, when I ordered, I was advised that it was any side except for the one I selected (Camembert). I therefore had to pay extra for this side. We then waited about minutes for our meal with no explanation as to the excessive wait time. lunch was amazing! with taste packed, hot and well presented. gluten free options available (remember that they will tell them if they need gf). Children's menu available and many lunch specials. we tried the färger and maische (gf), classic burger and rueben sandwich. all winner beer is delicious, a few different options if they are an alcoholic drink at their meal. free water available fair value. portion sizes are quite large service was excellent clean, lots of natural light. my only quality was that there were some inconspicuous peeps that had drinks at the bar. we were not the only people who noticed borderline...read more

The food here is good and the ambience great . We had asked for the mulled wine but they ran out of stock.. So we stuck to the traditional wheat beers, lager and mango beers For mains we ordered the pork knuckle with sauerkraut and the currywurst sausage with spetzel : it was delicious but I still prefer the ones we get at Berlin : Our friends ordered the steak and mashed and the currywurst with wedges... wedges were yummm Overall, had a great Friday night out.. would definitely go back. I do recommend reserving a table for dinner as the place gets busy!!!
very friendly service and great ambiente. the cheese balls and chicken carvings were fantastic. the black bell was a big farewell. the skin was completely rubbery and inedible and the meat was very fat. the flesh itself was beautiful and very delicate. not a fan of the bratwurst, but I didn't have it before it turns out it's just not my cup tee. the kartoffel and engraving was beautiful. I would like to try again some other things
Not bad at all. We had the steak sandwich and potato dumpling mushroom ragout dish. Sandwich was a little dry and so was the steak, the caramelised onions were good. The highlight was the mushroom ragout love the sauce. And the potato dumpling reminds me of a giant version of the Italian gnocchi.
As a meat lover, I do enjoy my visit brotzeit! I love their soft and juicy pork ribs, sausages, and whatnot! Portion is huge hence justify the price though I recommend you come in groups as the platters are designed for sharing. It’s really worth it. Man, their pork belly is just, simply, amazing!

coming from a German background and visiting Germany, often made me hesitate to try this place, as there is no possibility of food possibly corresponding to the standards of the local kitchen. our food was delicious and so tasteful. so glad that we have come over this place and will return.
lunch after a hike around the shopping center. I got the plate and ripen. all components were superb, but the sausages woth gravy sauce were my favorite or perhaps the chicken carving
