This place has promise, as plenty of sandwich, salad, and bowl options. Grab a sheet of paper to check off your order and any modifications. It's a little confusing as one table is for sandwiches/salads, the other for bowls and such. Dropping off your order to someone is a bit confusing too, not very structured at all. I got the chipotle chicken sandwich and asked to add for onions (specifically told the sandwich maker) but it was not included. It was messy and the sandwich was just okay. The lemonades they have are the best part though, my mango lemonade was absolutely delicious.
A decent spot for sandwiches and breakfast items that's slightly less than a few others in the areaWe ordered breakfast (farmhouse breakfast) and a breakfast sandwich. Both were okay but not that great. They do cook it in front of you but I don't think they're using the freshest (or best) ingredients. They also had no rolls for the sandwich. The service was pretty slow since they make it in front of you. The ambiance didn't feel that comfortable either. All in all, it felt like a second rate Pret or Au bon pain, and neither of those are amazing either!
Not good at all. 43 dollars for two sandwiches, 2 waters, 2 tiny cups pasta salad. Bare bones décor, not very good service, the bread tasted old, the pasta salad was hard as a rock. Not al dente, but like undercooked... the spice in the chicken salad wasn 't right... not too many people put peppers and no tomatoes in pasta salad. Pasta Salad was sooooo small and it said 4.99 on the lid but when we paid they charged us 6.79. HORRIBLE It got a two star because my husband got a turkey club and it was edible and we hadn 't eaten for almost 24 hours so...
Brown Bag on 14th Street in DC is a great place to go for all things delicious and quality food and much more I have been happy with all of the orders that I have made from here. The staff here is very friendly and accommodating to make sure that you have everything that you need.

Based on my experience, the food is very bland and overpriced. I requested a substitution for a breakfast order and the cook completely ignored my request. That was it for me. I suspect that the restaurant survives off of foot traffic due to its location in an office building.
This Brown Bag makes my mornings great! I am always welcomed by the kindest staff, I love the fresh teas and juices, and the bagel is top notch. This is a perfect spot where you know quality and care goes into every item. Good vibes abound!! I love this place!
This restaurant is terrible and makes me feel sick just thinking about it. The prices are too high and the food is extremely greasy. Don't waste your money or your stomach on this place!
The chicken salad sandwich at this restaurant was delicious and made with fresh ingredients. I really enjoyed the quality of the food and the excellent customer service that I received.

Dropped in here for breakfast during our stay as it was just outside our hotel. Food was made to order, tasted good and represented good value compared to what hotels tend to charge.
The food was terrible. Despite being very hungry, I couldn't even finish my bowl and my mom's eggs were also terrible.
