This was a trifecta for us, 1st time to visit, our 1st breakfast in our new home town and our 1st family event in our new home town. We 'll the Irish luck seemed to once again happen. When we walked in no waiting immediate setting but by the time we left a line was beginning to form. There was a service hiccup, 1.they sit us next to the window, although they had the sun blocker screens down you could feel the heat so we asked if we could move and this is when it happened. The Host came over and asked for our drink order because she said the waitress was talking orders from a table with multiple guest. 2. Wow, everything was incredible! It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I will definitely return. I've seen this place all over social media, so I was eager to give it a try. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, while my husband had an omelet with spinach, tomato, onion, bacon, and cheese. We also shared a side of French toast, which was absolutely divine. I highly recommend checking out this place. The food, atmosphere, and staff were all fantastic!
The food was enjoyable, but it could definitely benefit from more seasoning. I'm not sure if they use salt, pepper, or any spices when preparing their dishes. My wife ordered a grilled chicken breast, and it was quite plain—just a piece of chicken cooked on a flat top without any flavor. On the other hand, I tried the catfish and shrimp, which were very tasty! The cheese sticks were also fantastic and quite large, so be sure to order a significant amount.
My husband and I love this place. We come every week for breakfast, because the food AND service is really great. The wait staff is super sweet, and the food comes out fast and fresh!!! Honestly, they don't have a big menu but I personally like that. The coffee is great, not weak and watery like most places. If you're starving, get the pancakes-they are huge and super filling. I love the omelet and the breakfast sandwich the best.

I've ordered from here three times, and each time my nachos have been messed up with unappealing beans and no meat. I will never order from here again. Additionally, no one has ever made an effort to correct my order, and they seem to think I'm lying when they can't read it properly. Rocket Cafe will always be the best café in Waco.
1. Once visitors and we will return! Nice open seating, great attentive waiting staff. Had queso to begin with beef/chips to share enough for 5. Entree of Grilled Chicken Sandwich w/side Salat 2 could share, Grilled Chicken in Spinat packing, salmon with 2 sides, Chicken Fried Steak and Cheeseburger with Fried Egg. All delicious!
Great little place, hostess was a sweet heart! Group of 3, we all ordered the same dish, chicken and pancakes as well as a small order of mozzarella sticks. The food was great and the service was wonderful. Portions are big, so I was unable to finish my meal, but will definitely give this facility my business.
Timer is an excellent spot! This diner serves a fantastic breakfast, and they actually have strong black coffee—no wonder it's so popular. The wait is definitely worth it. The host is incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we also met some really lovely people while we were waiting.
