You've invested a lot in this place, and it's disappointing to see a few people running it into the ground. It used to be a fun destination for boaters, but too many customers have been asked to leave for no reason. If your bartender can’t manage the pressure, they should consider stepping away from the bar and working on the floor instead. Not all the staff are problematic, but a few definitely are, and it’s important to address this issue soon. Island residents have been loyal customers for years, but if the situation doesn’t improve, they won’t stick around much longer. The food is great! The service is great! They have a great view of the water and a nice overhang for shade. You'll always see something cool there rather it's a boat or something flying by literally. I also had the biggest crucnhy fish sandwich ever! Just make eye contact or say something when staff walks by you and they'll get someone to help you. They're usually extremely busy on the weekends and they handle it well. When it's a weekday it's like ordering fast food when fast food is actullay fast. It's on the water so it has a nice relaxing lake feel to it and the wait staff is relaxed even when they're busy.
The food is outstanding at Brown's and the view of the water is beautiful. It is not the most clean place and is older but that does not bother me because the food and service is outstanding. Also the boat docks are very nice and modern at Brown's and it is easy to park your boat and get back out. Brown's is a lot of fun. If you have young kids don't take your kids here it is for mature adults who just wanna hang out, have fun, and drink along with great food.
Fantastic food and service! The views over the water create a wonderfully open atmosphere, and the kids are already eager to return. We had to wait a few minutes for a waitress when we arrived, but after that, she was very attentive to our needs.
Absolutely fantastic! Make sure to try the Walleye; it’s the best dish here. The atmosphere is wonderful, the crowd is lively, and the view is stunning! This is the go-to spot on Harsens Island. Be sure to stay for sunset!
The meals and service exceeded my expectations. We absolutely loved the atmosphere of this place. It's a great spot to take my family for dinner.
