There's nothing lacking in this place. Here's why I gave it only 2 stars. The food, service and environment is average...like any decent neighbourhood pub. The only thing that is off is the pricing. This is not a high end Gastro Pub and it shouldn't price its menu items as such. Why would I pay $18 for a burger and fries when I can go literally 2 blocks down the road at another neighbourhood pub and get the same meal, similar environment and service for only $14? I wasn't dissatisfied after our lunch but I did feel slightly ripped off. Basically, you're not getting what you're paying for. My go to place for a burger and a cocktail with my partner! A bit pricey for what it is, but the location and mood/ambiance is great, especially on days that are a little less busy. The signs, wood textures, and lighting create a taphouse/pub atmosphere. The basil grapefruit martini is delightful, and inspired me to make my own at home. The gravy, while a bit on the expensive side, is a game changer, especially with fries, a burger, or alongside a beef dip. Most of the times I've been here, the service is excellent (if not just good), and they take care to make you comfortable. Very easy to customize my order as well.
it is okay with a large group of people so everyone can find something. I really like the interior but the food is overpriced. The lettuce wrap comes with lots of lettuce which is good but it can hardly be called kong pro. It is a nice sauce but it has nothing to do with the Chinese version. I'm a regular at this location and again and again and again, I'm blown away by how great the service is. It's almost unrealistic how kind, personable yet professional everyone is there. Thank you so much for continuously knocking it out of the park.
The food here is outstanding! Given the price, the quality is excellent, and the staff allowed us to chat for four hours without pressuring us to order alcohol. Thank you, we really appreciate it!
The food is good, the service is usually great but DAMN this chain needs to change their 'required playlist '. It 's over the top horrible, enough to chase a normal person out for sure.
