Visited on a Friday night without a reservation so the place was packed but luckily it was a nice evening so we accepted the offer of a sidewalk table and were seated immediately. Brea has a pretty quiet main street so it was fine to be seated on the sidewalk. We ordered from the weekend special menu which was $40 for three courses. I think that 's a bargain! The bread and oil was delicious, then we had some antipasti and a salad both very nice followed by steak, seafood cioppino, tiramisu and pannacotta. I ordered a flat iron steak. He brought a regular steak and insisted that this was their flat iron steak. I've been there many times and I've never received a bulky steak when I ordered a flat iron steak hence the name flat. I cook it is made from the beef shoulder. This clearly was just some kind of a steak. Then when I paid my bill, we gave him cash and a credit card, the cash was not the tip. We told him to apply towards the total and then he came back and gave me the bill and double checking I added another tip. That was my fault however it was his mistake. Staff was great! Repeatedly checked on us. And brought us two lovely desserts for an anniversary we were celebrating for the other couple with us. We love the all day happy hour on Sunday, nice little discount on apps and drinks. And definitely plays a part in choosing Brunos in addition to good food, atmosphere, and staff.
We celebrated our 5th anniversary here and it was a great choice! The food was great and exceeded our expectations. The only thing that may be a concern to some is that the seating is a bit close to other parties. Other than that everyone including the hostess were attentive and would definitely come again! First time at this restaurant. The cocktails were good. The charcuterie plate was a good value. I ordered the lasagna. It was very good but not memorable. Same for the spaghetti and meatballs. But overall very nice place with good food and drink. I'd definitely go there again.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. The ambiance is perfect to enjoy their delicious Italian cuisine. The servers are attentive and friendly. When we happen to see the owner, Don, he is gracious to approach us. Highly recommended.

One of my favorite places to go to for an easy, delicious Italian dinner! Appetizers, pastas and drinks are all amazing. Come for their happy hour, you won’t regret it!
