A lovely dinner was ruined by one small thing. Fennel. I should've told the waitress that I didn't care for the dinner, but by the time I put my finger on what was wrong, it was already getting pretty late and I had eaten a good portion of the meal. For starters, the history of the restaurant is quite interesting. I found the atmosphere very pleasant. You take a step inside and it feels like a nice Italian restaurant from the 60's. The service was great as well. My waitress was very attentive and would check on me often. The bread was quite enjoyable as well. Warm and fluffy with a nice, crisp crust. We 1 year-old and parents) arrived at 5:04 PM and by 5:45 PM started to wonder where our food was at. We inquired and were told it would be out shortly . By 6 PM, we asked the team to box it up and it became evident that the team hadn 't even begun working on it until we informed them at 5:45 PM. The owner came out and said we would get a significant discount it should have been free) but it was only about 30-40%. After over an hour of waiting, our food was finally brough out to us in to-go boxes. We got back home and the quantity of food was absolutely embarrassing. veterans rabatt, thank you! that was unexpected. would really recommend this place. all that came out of the kitchen looked great, and the peole devoured them. disappointed that they were out when they laughed, what they know, but it was because we later came there in the night. the roasted ravioli was great for a starter. her fresh brot was hot and great with real butter on the side. I got the pizza, two, and it was too much. but the pizza tasted great the next day. a pizza is enough for two. would recommend this place, but earlier go so that they can get this lasagne! I will come back
My husband had their famous lasagna and really liked it. I tried the marinara sauce that was in it, and it tasted like they had been cooking it for days because it was so so good. The flavor was very intense and delicious. I misunderstood their menu that said gluten-free, haha. It is gluten-free if you substitute a bowl of soup or salad for the pasta. So, I was disappointed but the lemon chicken picatta was very good even without pasta. It is a very good restaurant for Italian favorites.
Sorry I didn't take a picture, but I had veal parmasean. It was delicious. Meat was very tender with several thin slices. The spaghetti were cooked perfectly and the sauce was superb. But even more spectacular was the staff. Every staff person, not just our wait staff, was friendly and attentive. It made me feel like I was welcomed and wanted there. Inside seating was comfortable, a choice of a table or booth and there was even outside seating. I will definitely go again.
There was a line at the door right at 5pm when they opened on a Friday. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. If I could rate this place 10 stars, I would. Do not question whether you should go there for a meal, just do it. You will not regret it.
Omgoodness!! If you haven't been to Bruno's you need to go. Hubs had veal parm I had the shrimp fettuccini with lemon butter sauce. The best italian we have ever had
Exceptional cooking and flavor! Top of the line Italian dishes, on the same level as Ermilio's in Eureka Springs.
Delicious food- carbonara, Caesar salad, fantastic bread and marinara. Comfortable atmosphere, excellent service.
