My husband and I frequently go to this location ever since we moved to Palm Bay, and I’ve never had a problem. We spend $20-$30 each time. Multiple times a week. Great ice cream! But today I am very disappointed in the service I got. I wanted a small milkshake, and I was told they were out of small cups, so I’d have to get regular or large. So I asked if I would be charged for the small price? Since that’s what I wanted?he said no cause it’s a different size cup. Kind of in a rude way, like I’m stupid. I was thrilled to discover that Bruster's offers no-added-sugar ice cream, with 15 flavors listed on their website. As a diabetic, this was great news! So, we jumped in the car and headed over. I ordered a cinnamon regular cup, but the young lady informed me that they didn’t have that flavor. I then asked what other no-added-sugar options were available, and she said there were none. I inquired about when they would have some in stock, but she ignored my question while assisting my husband with his payment. Wanted a specific flavor, but they were sold out. I decided to try a cake batter, peanut butter cream waffle cone. I was given a vanilla cake batter ice cream. I asked if i could have chocolate ice cream with peanut butter on top instead, and they said it would be another $5.34! I already had paid $5.13 for the cake batter that was not specifically listed as vanilla on their sign... So, $10.47 for a small ice cream cone! Food: 1
Got the pb cup overload And it was just chocolate icecream.. there was no hint of peanut butter at all... also the second scoop was toffee bar but it was very little toffee bar... it was almost all vanilla ice cream with a dash of toffee bar.. I'm not exaggerating at all.. go there for yourself.. they really skimp you on the ingredient that sells the flavor you want... Rich and delightful! As a occasional visitor to this place, I can honestly say I've never had an ice cream here that I didn’t enjoy. I visited on Saturday evening, and the traffic trying to get into the parking lot was quite bad. However, there is parking available across the street. Don't let the parking situation deter you; definitely treat yourself to some of that delicious ice cream!
I absolutely loved my hot fudge brownie (make sure to ask them to warm it up). I skipped the whipped cream and added caramel sauce, swapping the cookie and cream ice cream for vanilla ice cream, all served in a waffle bowl. It was delicious!
Haven't been to Bruster's in years! Brought my family we all enjoyed something different waffles cups, waffle cones, and milkshakes. And they have the perfect spots to sit in the shade! Next time, we might try the drive thru option.
