Stopped here on the way home from vacation. The food and service was good until I received the bill. I was told I could pay at the register, but I did not have the itemized bill, yet. When I was told the amount, it seemed high, but I paused for a moment and tipped and paid anywaywhich was my fault. I asked to see the itemized bill, which showed that the waitress had already added a tip, but didn’t tell me. I expressed my frustration to her about not letting me know, but she just told me, in a snippy way, that the menu said she could add a tip so she did. Just too bad for me. We recently moved to Jasper and today, my husband and I decided to try out this BBQ restaurant for lunch. We opted to sit outside on the porch. He ordered the pulled pork special for lunch, while I chose the veggie plate with four sides. Everything was absolutely delicious! The sides were cooked perfectly—not overdone as I’ve experienced at other BBQ places before. Our waitress was also incredibly friendly and attentive. I’m looking forward to bringing the whole family back soon!

Ribs, which in the past have been excellent, were 1/4 inch thick. Literally all hard bark. Corn fritters were not fresh or hot. Bubba-penos looked and tasted like they had been under a warmer for several days. I was extremely disappointed in the quality of the food.
