this bar is magical. there is only something about this place where they know that so much has happened in these 4 walls over years and years. I fell in love a few weeks ago during my first trip to paris where I ended. until I visited it not even, but twice. it is a diving wine bar, but with so much character, in each corner and crunches. If you want real paris, you'll swing by bubar. is not far from place de la bastille hidden. the owner is super friendly and friendly. in good hands when I tell him what I like, and he comes back with some wonderful crying that are Spot-on. the kitschige interieur with the stacks of cds, and now with the outside seats if they want some fresh air. great place to gather with a friend or two for a relaxed evening of the beautiful weine at a reasonable price and in a welcoming ambiente. the owner is a falk for sanitation. I stood on my place and he immediately reminded me to wear my mask. good for him!
I met the owner, Jean Luc, 17 years ago when he opened Bubar Just dropped in tonight an he’s still there, and is as sweet as ever. This is a very informal place, so don’t expect eligance.
