I am sad. This is my favorite Boba place but last couple times have been shoddy preps of the drinks. The 1st was way to creamy with no flavor (brown sugar) and I had requested additional. This time same drink ordered on the app. I sat in my car in front of the store waiting for notification. I finally went in and asked when I saw someone else walk in, order and get served. The server then pointed at my order waiting on the counter. Besides the fact that I never got a notification and my drinks were just sitting melting away, I had to ask which of the two Brown sugar drinks had the added sugar. She couldn't tell and had to read the reciepts.....ugh. Just wholly disappointing.Especially paying...
It was really cool to see that Bubble U. in LA has a location here in Sacramento! The quality between the two shops is amazing and is one of the best options for boba if you're in Sacramento area. Another thing to mention is that they have Snackpass which is an online ordering app. You can order ahead through the app or in store via iPad which is powered by Snackpass. Either way, I believe if you enter your phone number, you earn points! Ordering in store was super easy and my drink came out really fast! I ordered the Iron Goddess Oolong with 75% sweetness and it was really good. Wasn't overly sweet and you can really taste the oolong. Will be coming back :
I absolutely love the whimsical Wizard character designs inside the shop—they're incredibly eye-catching! The atmosphere is friendly, and cleanliness is always a priority, which I really appreciate. I also enjoy the variety of healthy drink options available. The prices are reasonable as well. One standout feature is that customers can customize their sugar levels, choosing anything from no sugar to their preferred maximum sweetness in their drink. Unlike many other boba places where the drinks are usually overly sweet, this option is fantastic. I highly recommend Bubbles University anytime! Cheers from Sacramento County, California!
I think next time I’ll skip the boba altogether because I'm pretty sure they swapped my less golden boba and extra ice into my Tiramisu Iced Coffee. I also requested extra sweetness, but it seems they didn’t add any more than the usual amount—if they added any at all. It’s still quite tasty, but I recommend going in person instead, especially since this is the second time I’ve experienced this issue with the same order through DoorDash. I’m not sure where the mix-up is happening, but I won’t be ordering from here again.

The tiramisu coffee was quite bitter, and I think they may have forgotten to add sweetener. However, I've tried other drinks from this place and they've all been excellent, so I believe this is just a one-time issue.
Im only taking 1 star off because I hate the feeling of being rushed at the kiosk. The gingerbread bottle is so cute! The workers were nice as well although they weren’t great at answering questions.
First time to this Boba place. They have too many choices of milk drinks. I’ve tried the tiramisu with boba and 25% sweetness. It was delicious and place is well maintained and very clean.
They followed covid safety and guidelines pretty well. I think the boba here is definitely better than most. I would def come back and try it again! Look at those cute cup holders!

This place is awful one person working they tell you when you want to order use a kiosk after greeting us. Then tells us it's card only no cash payments... Absolutely ridiculous
Great little place with very high quality made drinks, definitely one of the fancier made drinks with style and of course great tasting as well.
