Dining at the Pope's table is always enjoyable, and the service is consistently good, but unfortunately, the food is only average. The cheesy bread had an unusual taste that none of us liked. We were all hungry and eagerly dug into the cheesy bread, only to quickly exchange glances of disappointment. It was inedible. The chicken parmesan was also underwhelming. For three ladies ordering two main dishes, a side, and a bottle of wine, we ended up spending nearly $200, including tip. This place used to be a favorite, but not anymore. I wouldn't recommend it going forward.
We visited the restaurant for Father's Day right at 11 am when they opened. Everyone arrived by 11:15, and that was no problem. Our server was friendly and attentive without being intrusive, even though the place wasn't very busy. We ordered a small salad, cheese bread, chicken parm, and spaghetti with meatballs, which was more than enough for our family of four, and we even had leftovers. It was wonderful to return to Buca after not having been there since before the Burnaville location burned down, and we were not disappointed!
Tonight, my family dined at Buca, and it was a fantastic experience. The portion sizes are quite generous, making them ideal for sharing, and the food was truly outstanding. The staff was very accommodating as well. One of our group has hearing difficulties, so they seated us in a quiet area that allowed us to communicate easily. I was especially impressed with our waitress, Linda. I highly recommend trying this restaurant!
The food at this restaurant was fantastic! We started with the apple Gorgonzola salad, which was incredible. For our main courses, we enjoyed the cheese manicotti, ravioli with meat sauce, and garlic bread, all of which were delicious. Our server was exceptional—very friendly and attentive. He clearly understood how to deliver excellent service.

Exactly what we were hoping for! It was a fun and casual atmosphere with fantastic food. Ideal for our group of 15, which included people of different ages and budgets. Everyone felt at ease. Our waitress struck the perfect balance—friendly and professional. She was attentive and handled our large group effortlessly. She was amazing!
This restaurant is decent, offering satisfactory service and food. If you're dining with a larger group and plan to share the same dishes, the family-style options can be a cost-effective choice. However, if you're looking for a variety or prefer individual plates, you might want to consider other places.
The dishes lacked flavor, but we appreciated the kindness of our waitress. The bread had a metallic taste and wasn't very enjoyable. It wasn't my favorite experience, but it was nice to try something new.
Always a great experience with consistently delicious food and a wide variety of options on the menu. The portion sizes are satisfying as well.
