my wife and I are always looking for new places to try that have a quality Friday fish fry. we both haddock and were very satisfied. 3 piece with a subtle, but just quite spiced brot, deep fritted to a crunchy perfection. excellent house made wineic acid sauce. and the potato pancakes are also amazing! I am also a clam chowder knowr and while I am disappointed in the rule with most local try, I will say that their wild rice clam chowder is one of my favorites in the city (balisteris manhattan clam chowder another favorit it was occasionally a little salty but all-in-all taste, consistency and above all the muschel that never catches me! This food was so expensive and so terrible. I mean, so terrible. And soooo expensive. The fish was over breaded, over herbed, limp, and under cooked. The potato pancakes were thick and raw in the middle. The coleslaw tasted so strongly of onion it was inedible. Never in my life have I had spicy applesauce before now. Wouldn't recommend it. The fries were wet. Hand to god, wet. W.E.T. wet. The tartar sauce could more accurately be described as dill flavored mayo. On the other hand my kid seemed to like their mini-burgers but she's still young and not that bright yet so who really knows.

My mom heard the fish fry was good so we went mid afternoon. Place was empty but the music was loud and unpleasant. Our fish fry featured really greasy fish and heavy greasy potato pancakes. If you want an authentic feel go to a local tavern in Milwaukee and you will get better fish and a better experience. I seldom leave negative reviews. I would never go back here. Lots of better options.
Haddock Fish fry was tasty but potato pancakes were overcooked and the batter on the Haddock was heavy and some what greasy. Cole slaw, apple sauce and tarter sauce sides were fresh and delicious. I would be willing to try them again but we were a bit disappointed. It was a Door Dash order so perhaps it would have been better if we ate it at the restaurant freshly cooked too.
today we had so much fun eating in our schnapps! natalie and james took care of us so well and eating was amazing! loved the cheese curds and deviled eier as starter. I had the ribs that were fantastic and the maisbrot *cook kiss.* would definitely recommend this culinary experience!

I order a lot of vegetarian options on a menu and I'm usually disappointed. This was super super good!! The mushroom cream sauce made me want to lick my plate and the broccolini was the best I've ever had!
