Three of us ordered different steaks, and all were delicious; served with crips salad, sautéed vegetables (cooked just right, not wilted), and choice of potato. Everything was prepared to perfection with the freshest ingredients. Service was top notch. Wait staff is attentive without hovering. Considering the quality, this was an excellent value. I highly recommend Buckheads to anyone looking for a quality dining experience in Richmond.
Buckheads is one of those rare places where everyone wants to get in the door and to a table ahead of you. The food is that good and, yes, it can be difficult to get a reservation, but it is worth the wait. The waitstaff knows when to approach and when not to. You are not waiting too long for the first or third thing you ordered. The pace of things is just right. There's no rush. You'll love it. And BTW, the bread pudding is to die for.
This was our first visit, and it not only met but exceeded the high expectations I had based on friends who say this is their favorite restaurant. The host and hostess were friendly; bar scene looked lively and fun; our waiter was personable, attentive, and took great care of us; and the food was exceptional. Buckhead's is one of my favorite restaurants. The filets were wonderful cooked to order and very flavorful. Salad, sides and escargot were all very good. Our waiter provided excellent service and was very knowledgeable. He was even able to figure out the wine that he had recommended for us a year ago so that we could order it again.
Buckheads never disappoints. Great menu, wine list, service. ……and when fast food is a lot of money for….. not much….. Buckheads is very value priced! Dont let its location is a strip mall deceive you. Buckheads is fine dining. What the location does give you is ample parking! Leave the pj bottoms at home and dress to impress.
Food was excellent and the steaks were cooked perfectly. Servers were friendly, personable and knowledgeable.
