To start with the highlights, my husband and I went there for dinner this evening and had a terrific server, Kimberly, who was very friendly and attentive. We always enjoy the view of the marina whether you dine inside or outside, and it's been clean whenever we've eaten there. We've been there during lunch and dinner on weekdays and on busy weekends. There's a decent selection of meat and seafood prepared pretty simply, with standard sides. This time we ordered a steak with green beans and a baked potato and a plate of grilled cod fish tacos and fries. The steak and sides were flavorful and cooked well for a flat top steak, but there were a couple things that would have improved the tacos....
We spent Thanksgiving in Olympia and didn't have any dinner plans, so we decided to stop by Budd Bay. They had opened their bar area to accommodate more diners for Thanksgiving, and we were seated right away. The restaurant offered a traditional Thanksgiving menu, and we both opted for the full traditional meal with all the trimmings, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We even managed to save some room for dessert! A big thank you to all the friendly staff for making our Thanksgiving memorable.
I absolutely love this place. My husband and I stopped by here when we were driving through Olympia. We decided to walk along the waterfront and then go to this restaurant, as it was highly rated. The food was delicious and the staffing was quick and accommodating. They sat our 2 dogs with us on the patio and in a shaded area, as it was 90ﾟduring our visit. I had the dungeoness crab eggs benedict for breakfast, and it was delicious. I would definitely go back again.
We like coming here! My husband brought me for my birthday recently and we got the crab boil for 2. The portion was pretty generous, and oh boy was it amazing! I love how they elevated the flavors a bit and added scallops to the sauce. We also had the beer tasting paired with oysters which was delightful. I can't wait for another opportunity to go back! Their food is amazing, and the waitress really did a great job explaining the menu and recommendations.

The salmon here is incredibly flavorful! We tried the cedar plank salmon and the tri-citrus honey butter salmon, both of which were delicious. Our server, Lindsey, was impressive—she was quick, friendly, and clearly knew the menu very well. The seating was nice and cozy, and we were able to get a table easily on a Tuesday evening. Overall, we truly enjoyed our meals!
we had a delicious Easter brunch the variety of food was amazing, and everything we tried was delicious. the squirting kartoffels with speck were wonderful, the prime rib was made perfect, and the desserts were exceptional.
**Second visit:** I was able to find seating easily in the bar/lounge area, where the bartender provided exceptional service. I enjoyed a delicious ribeye and a cocktail that exceeded my expectations.
This is an outstanding restaurant located at the harbor, offering both seafood and dishes for land lovers. The food is exceptional, the mixed drinks are expertly crafted, and the service is top-notch.

The restaurant was clean and the service was good. I needed a quick lunch, and most places in the area were quite busy. I ordered a sandwich and soup since I was in a hurry.
Great clam chowder and mussels. Shrimp for lunch was pretty darn good too. Nice views of bay and a hop away from the hands on children’s museum if you are there.
