Never again. Ordered from this location 3 times over the past year or so every time, they manage to screw up our order.1 ordered salad and a pie on our way home from a funeral (about a half hour away . Got there, waited for another 40 minutesbin the shop for the salad (at least we were hungry when we got home? 2 ordered by phone one 8 piece Detroit style, and a one 8 square thin crust (which they apparently don't do anywhere, but nobody bothered to tell me . Got two 4 square pies (at least one was thin? .3 today, got the pizza home and the dough was soggy. Not uncooked soggy, but like it sat in a puddle soggy. 2 pies. Disgusting. Disappointed in my Caesar salad and hot wings. Definitely pales in comparison to the Northwestern location which I frequent for both carry out and dining in. The Caesar dressing is not homemade at this location and they should have a disclaimer because as someone who makes Caesar dressing from scratch I only will buy a Caesar salad when I know the dressing is made in house. So that was a complete flop. My wings were soggy and not cooked long enough. The 2 stars is because everything was packaged nicely and the 4 sq pizza was good.
This is a takeout-only restaurant. I placed my pizza order at the counter, and the staff was very polite and friendly. It took about twenty minutes to prepare, but there are several other shops in the shopping complex that I was able to explore in the meantime. If you're looking to dine in, there are a few tables available, but no table service. The pizza was tasty, and I especially enjoyed the crispy corners. However, the breadsticks were a bit disappointing compared to other places, as they were quite dry.
Tried the new bbq brisket pizza. It was decent but lacked enough meat to warrant it a brisket pizza. I like how the pickles were separate, and the staff explained that adding them too soon would make them soggy. Sauce was good on top as well. I'll try the yard bird pizza next, and hopefully, it will be good. These are limited time pizzas, and i figured I'd try them. I had 3 horrible Greektown pizzas in a year at the Royal Oak location.I dont use the feebies after complaining. I want good food!Tonight, I finally called a different location after I got a horrible pizza from Royal Oak.This location is on top!I called and told them my situation.They said “ please come in and we will make it right”I agreed,My pizza from This location was really good!I will no longer go to the Royal Oak location!Go to the Maple and Lahser location!
This is truly the best pizza I have had since I moved here!! Reminds me of Lou Malnati's pizza! The square pizza shape is nice, but the edges dry out. I wish they made rounds,
Eight corners is my favorite! I get different toppings on each half. Their pizza is so good. Their cheese bread is great too!!
